Wine experts say this White wine delivers as it should. It`s dry, brisk in acidity and ultrarefined, with flavors of pear, white peach, citrus, vanilla and toasted vanilla oak. The length, concentration and balance are outstanding. Wonderful now, but it should improve for decades. Sourced from vines planted in 1965, this is seductive even though it`s decades old and aromas have mellowed. There`s a voluptuous edge to the berry flavors, as well, while the mouthfeel is smooth and creamy. This has yet to blossom into a sophisticated wine, but there`s an appealing streak of citrus and natural acidity. Drink now. Polished and well crafted, this has earthy aromas of truffle, tobacco, coffee and black spices. The palate is a bit reserved, but there`s ample acidity, making the flavors linger on the finish. Dry, spicy, earthy berry aromas are mildly herbal, leathery.
