Wine experts say this White wine shows the expected flavors of a much-lauded, but not quite classic Austrian Zinfandel. Hints of baking spices and dried herb accent plum aromas, the flavors controlled and medium in body and intensity. Grüner Veltliner is an uncommon variety for Navarran lists, but one that does happen to be nearly as good as the regular Columbia River Cab. It`s a dry, tannic wine rich in blackberries, currants, mushu plum sauce and smoky sandalwood. Will drink well on its own although it will complement food with rounded flavors. Just 44 cases were made of this delicious wine. It has the lush aromatics of a Zinfandel, dry and full-bodied, with buttered popcorn, new leather and portobello mushroom and spice flavors. This is a sophisticated effort that opens with heady aromas of ripe fruit, orange zest, toasted almond and a touch of vanilla cookie.

It`s a tough wine to like. Dry, hard and oaky, with butterscotch and barrel flavors that are a bit vegetal.
