Wine experts say this White wine delivers as it`s presented. Aromas of iced hibiscus tea, herbal tea, tea and mulberry jam are followed by plush fruit and floral flavors. The wine spent 22 months in French oak, 38% new. The `06 vintage, an excellent `07 `07 and additional red to the `04 lineup, is an under-the-radar field blend. It`s very good, showing black currant, black cherry, tart cranberry, fine herbal flavors, firm tannins and an overall very good feel. The tannins are thick and textured, and the wine has quite a few other characteristics, such as French oak`s ability to mingle with the fruit. Now–2016. Honey, pear, lemon and vanilla cream flavors mark this beautiful Chardonnay. But there`s lots of acid, right alongside the honey and orange peels. Rich and round, yet with just a touch of leesy acidity.
