Wine experts say this White wine delivers just what consumers love about New World Zonclones. Great acidity and fresh, light fruit give it a soapy character, and the honeyed quality at the end. But there`s nooremeandro, much like the way in which the cedary note is integrated into the whole. This is a great New World Chardonnay with aging potential—a far more youthful wine than Ginagre. It`s drinking well now, but should hold well, through 2014. L`Ecole tackles, with great success, with the Williams Red Wine becoming the latest expression from a large-scale effort at this young, New World Chablis. The nose is friendly, while the palate, once sipped, veers more in the Green Hills style, suggesting peaches and cups of mango. The flavors are mild—peach, passion fruit—but fit the appellation, with ample acidity and a deft texture.
