Wine experts say this White wine delivers as it`s shown. It`s creamy and peachy, augmented with just-right acidity and some walnut and herb-crusted butter on the nose and mouth. The fruit is fresh and tangy, but the dryness is never at fault, bolstered by toasty-oak tones and a long, rich finish. The vineyard is in the Santa Rosa Plain, a subregion of Sonoma County that offers some interestingly moreish Pinot Noir. Here, the flavors are more savory than rich, recalling raspberry and cranberry blended with cola, dried ginger and sandalwood. Yet there`s enough acidity to keep the finish from being flabby. Try after 2016. Here`s a pretty, well-balanced wine that almost tastes generic thanks to the wonderful Syrah components in the blend. Flavors of spice, red fruits, soft tannins and a hint of reedy spice finish sweet, with notes of oak and leather.
