Wine experts say this White wine delivers as it`s presented. The structure is in fine balance, and there`s some alcoholic heat on the midpalate, but the flavors are of cherries, blackberries, dark chocolate, cloves, pepper and smoky vanilla. The wine is technically dry, and it tastes good, but clumsy. The pineapple and peach fruit is all but buried in a meandering mélange of sweet herb and astringent tannins. Those layers never quite balance, resulting in a wine that`s fast approaching its goal, but lacks the delicacy that the winery`s other 2010s wines can achieve. Initially, this is a lovely, moderately aromatic wine, with notes of lychee, honey, orange marmalade and spice. It`s medium bodied, with a crisp, refreshing quality that is pleasing, but where`s the outrageously sweet focus and definition here? Drink now.
Wine experts say this White wine shows the rich side of Sauvignon Blanc. It`s more about richness than complexity, with penetrating citrus and white peach flavors and bright acidity. The length and texture are impressive. Rich in apricots, lemons and limes, this is a Pinot just looking for companionship in its natural acidity and ripeness. This dry, fruity version is perhaps too exuberant to enjoy on its own. It would be much better served with a burger or chicken with it`s soft, grippy texture. This 100% Cabernet Sauvignon is a best barrels selection. It has a powerful, briary mouthfeel, while the flavors are concentrated and spicy, with black currant ripeness. Too powerful by itself is a finish with no structure or sense of purpose. Deep, black in color, this wine has a nose of grapy red fruits, heat, pepper, maple syrup and earth.
