Wine experts say this White wine delivers as advertised. It`s pale salmon-pink in color, with appealing cherry-berry flavors. It carries a little phenolic grip, and lingers well into the finish. Full-bodied, soft and expansive, this offers plenty of midpalate delicacy. The flavors seem to dance in the glass, showing pretty floral highlights, along with subtle suggestions of seasonings of cinnamon and black pepper. The vineyard is in the Santa Maria Valley, and the wine shows long hangtime raspberry, pomegranate, herb and cedar flavors. It`s complex, and it`s totally dry and balanced. The acids, in this vintage, keep the wine fresh and compelling. A few years of age have turned this South Australia Chardonnay into a highly structured, amphithe-style expression of citrus, tropical fruit and especially orange. Well balanced in acids and tannins, it provides a wine that will drink well through 2015.
