Wine experts say this White wine delivers as it`s presented. The structure is in fine balance, and there`s some alcoholic heat on the midpalate, but the flavors are of cherries, blackberries, dark chocolate, cloves, pepper and smoky vanilla. The wine is technically dry, and it tastes good, but clumsy. The pineapple and peach fruit is all but buried in a meandering mélange of sweet herb and astringent tannins. Those layers never quite balance, resulting in a wine that`s fast approaching its goal, but lacks the delicacy that the winery`s other 2010s wines can achieve. Initially, this is a lovely, moderately aromatic wine, with notes of lychee, honey, orange marmalade and spice. It`s medium bodied, with a crisp, refreshing quality that is pleasing, but where`s the outrageously sweet focus and definition here? Drink now.
