Wine experts say this White wine delivers as advertised. It`s dry and crisp in acidity, with pleasant citrus, gooseberry and spice flavors. But the variety is hard to find, and there`s a vegetal edge to the flavors. Overall, it`s fairly good but bland. Soft and sugary, with raspberry and cherry jam, white sugar and oak flavors. The texture is chunky, but not too heavy or cloying. Seems not the best Shellfish to hit for so early. Still, it`s a pretty good Chard, not the least bit dishing. Cranberry, licorice, rhubarb, vanilla and toasted notes greet the nose on this wine from the Adelaida district. The mouthfeel is fresh and vibrant, with good tension and fresh flavors of strawberry, raspberry and spice. Smooth enough and natural, but with an herbal component. Crisp, pear fruit mingles with just a modicum of yeast on the nose.
