Wine experts say this White wine is oaky at first, with aromas of vanilla and plastic that quickly blow off to reveal vanilla scents and a seemingly sweetbread character. The palate is thick and syrupy with tart red fruits that finish simple but creamy. This is a smooth and fruity wine. Good acidity and dark tannins give structure to the berry fruit, the acidity and the fresh aftertaste. It is developing well and should be ready to drink by 2015. A rich, spicy wine that is full of red fruits and juicy acidity. So easy to like, with its brush strokes and the structure to age for a few years. This terrific Sauvignon Blanc boasts a heady concoction of tropical pineapple, papaya cream, fleshy ginger and even some grassier than usual. The grape is pronounced from the Sonoma County side of the appellation, which is what it is. It`s so rich it`s just thick in syrup.

The aromas are deliciously layered, peachy and detailed, and the flavors are refreshing, offering a nuanced mix of strawberry and raspberry. Dry and substantial, and a tannin-acid balance, make this an excellent cellar candidate. Quite tart when it`s hot, this is a strongly flavored, dry and sherried wine, showing its pepper, red currant, licorice and raspberry flavors. It is beautifully balanced, showing both richness and cut. It does need to age, so drink from 2016. Exhibiting the minerality of the vintage, this wine has a tight tang of acidity that, along with its dominant tannin, is one of the hallmarks of this fine winery. It presents itself as sweet in raspberry jam and vanilla flavors, with a touch of spice to add thyme to the mix.
