Wine experts say this White wine delivers as promised, with aromas of apricot, pineapple and ripe melon. Omniwines Distribution, L.A. This is very ripe, very extracted, and very grapy. It has black currant fruitiness, a textured, sweet and juicy character that will develop well. The wine is named after the vineyard rather than after the literal Portuguese meaning of “scantily dressed.” Drink now. A grapy, meaty, bold Merlot with tannins that dominate the ripe-smelling fruit. It tastes really dry, with a smoky, earthy character underlying the not-too-fruity cherry and red-plum flavors. Fine, but unlikely. Rather delicate, with relatively light fruit, spice and vanilla aromas, but the palate is wayward and slightly melony, and there`s not much else going on. It`s not going to get any better with a cold sipping.
