Wine experts say this White wine is too toasty. That`s because the acids are too sharp. It veers into sharp, sharp scents as well as sweet fruit, resulting in a wine that`s marked for near-term drinking. Heavy black-fruit aromas are hard to get over the top. The palate is saturated and bulky, with just a hint of fruit remaining on the finish. The overall balance test does not peg the wine`s hardness. A good, dry wine, but too rich and potent in blackberry jam, cedar and spice flavors. Not up to previous vintages, which was also very tannic. Needs to be aged over 2–3 years. Made from certified organic grapes, this offers aromas of blueberries, cassis, charred earth and cooking spices. The aromas cross over to the easygoing palate together with a hint of rose petal. Generic on the nose, with undistinguished aromas of melon and not much else.
