A very fine Cabernet, dry and firm in tannins, dark and opulent in cherry jam, red currant and herb flavors. Despite being a bit heavy, it`s very rich and complex. Shows a tannic structure and an earthy edge that suggests a good cellar. Almost too good to leave unopened, and too, the wine that helped make it great. This is a big, rich, thick wine that packs a punch, very intense in red fruit, tobacco, bacon and spicy sandalwood flavors. The tannins are powerful and hard, making the wine hard to like.
