Wine experts say this White wine delivers as promised, with aromas of honey, peach blossom and freshly cut grass. Round in the mouth, it has delightful flavors of honeydew, peach and green melon. A touch of spice and stony minerality also appears on the finish. Rich and spicy, this is a dry, tart Pinot Noir with an elegant silkiness and beautifully aromatic perlage. Ripe peach and pineapple flavors perfectly set up a precise, spicy, peppery mouthfeel. This is declassified ice wine, picked frozen. It does not have the richness of the vintage, but it is a crisp, tight, mineral wine with lots of strawberry flavors. The wine is tight and fresh, and it will be ready to drink by the end of 2014. Pecorino is the only red grape in Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, and the variety is almost uniformly excellent.
