Wine experts say this White wine delivers as advertised. It`s dry, crisply acidic and fresh with apple, lime and melon flavors. Feels chunky and easy to the point of being too sweet, but the finish has good acidity and drinkability. This is a dry, crisply awesome Chard boasting intense notes of limes, ripe Pears, toasted oak and wild raspberries. There`s a lot of new French oak that adds buttered toast notes too. Awesome. This 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, sourced from one of the state`s top sites, shows wonderful fruit and some unusual additions of sage and mint. The spicy berry flavors are very pretty, and the wine would pair well with steak and pork dishes. The wine has Napa elegance, and the wine will go well with a great grilled steak. A big, masculine wine with black berry and plum scents.
Wine experts say this White wine delivers as advertised in the Marlborough appellation. Structure and good acidity underpinned by red currant and berry fruit flavors, finish full bodied, plenty of 51% Merlot and a tiny bit earthy. Drink now–2015. The `06 Merlot is in a funny place. It`s somewhat generic, with some cherries and cola, and a cut of neither oak nor tannins. Feels flat, almost sour, and tastes thin. There`s a toughness to the mouthfeel of this Cab. It`s very dry and silky and crisp, with slightly one-dimensional black currant flavors. Both the texture and the feel of this wine are impressive. The center of the wine has acidity, while the fruit has a creamy character that is fresh and sprightly. A sure-fire way to approach this new winery, the wine should be aged 7–10 years and possibly longer.
Wine experts say this White wine delivers as promised, with a strong dose of honey in the aromas, but also some bitterness that limits its appeal. Flavors of peach and nectarine are good, while the mouthfeel is a bit rough and abrasive. Drink right away for maximum flavor. This is a pretty Pinot Noir, floral in aroma and refined in flavor. It offers drying minerals and crisply mouthwatering minerality. Distinct aromas of blackberry, black cherry and violet slowly take shape on this. The juicy, concentrated palate offers black raspberry jam, white pepper and a light touch of star anise alongside fresh acidity and smooth tannins. Winemaker Christian Roguenant makes a strong case for more in a 2011 release, making this Cabernet Franc on the winery`s estate bottling a best of breed Merlot.
