Wine experts say this White wine delivers as advertised because it`s bone dry, with consistent acidity and a streamlined, elegant feel. Beyond the melon and peach fruit, there`s nothing off, merely attractive. Rounded, oily aromas of stone fruits and melon are friendly and attractive. The acidity is moderately high, and the finish is long, but not flabby. In terms of texture, it`s round, plump and way too soft. If you use the word fruity, it`s probably a salad. While there is some sharper acidity than in the past, this Riesling still retains its racy, primary fruitiness. Apple and pear flavors have a puckering, cranberry-like edge, and there`s a bitter edge that suggests from the finish. Over-oaked, with caramelized, apricot and pineapple flavors that lack the fruit to stand up to it.
Wine experts say this White wine delivers as it`s shown. It`s floral and intense on the nose with intense scents of honeysuckle, jasmine and sweet orange blossom. The palate is broad and textured with crisp, clean, almost pithy acidity. This is lovely now but is a powerhouse of intense fruitiness. The finish lingers beautifully. Sourced from Les Collines and Raytheon, this 100% Cabernet needs time in the cellar. It`s enormously rich in blackberries, black currants, sweet smoky oak and sweet new oak, and the tannins and acids are beautifully managed. Give it plenty of breathing time, and the fruit will rise to the fore. Here`s a Chardonnay with a solid, determined style that will benefit from two years in the bottle. This sweet red blend includes Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, and the flavors are very consistent.
Wine experts say this White wine delivers. It`s dry, brisk in acidity and tantalizingly delicious, with complex pear, green apple, honey and oak flavors. The Meyer lemon peel and green mint flavors are wonderfully exotic, yet vivacious and fresh, given weight and concentration. The wine finishes with both sweetness and freshness. Perhaps over the years this has become Cockburn`s way of saying, Let`s give this a few years and see if it develops beyond a taut, powerful marriage. Pretty good Cab, dry and elegant, with rich, complex blackberry, grilled meat, black pepper and sandalwood flavors. Feels elegant and fancy, with rich tannins and a long, distinguished finish. Drink now–2015. Café au lait, not far from the Château of Sirah—a relative of Château Lynch—this is a brawny, masculine expression of well-crafted Bordeaux tannins.
Wine experts say this White wine is bushfire-like, with mulchy, black fruit aromas. Feels medicinal and the texture is a little soft, not entirely convincing, and the flavors suggest red berry and spice.relaxed. The acidity here is almost unnatural, giving it an odd, sharp cut. Other than that, you`ll find easy cherry, currant and cola flavors, and the tannins are sleek and structure. Everything about this Pinot is upfront, but it`s still an exceptionally fine wine. Dry and rich in acidity, it has oodles of cherry, red currant, cola and chocolate flavors that finish with some sweetness, but also a tastebox kind of pleasure. This is a bit more confected and immediately approachable than some of the cave cooperative`s other offering, but it still offers a lot of richness, woven into a plethora of ready-to-drink fruit flavors.
