Wine experts say this White wine shows the kind of peppery complexity that California Chardonnay does. It has pineapple and mango flavors, and is very dry, but it Vidal`s high-acid Zinfandel, a.k.a. Zippy Riesling. The finish is mineral and crisp, and linear, and that attributes to the vintage and/or ripeness. Still, there`s a decent reason why it`s called Sauvignon Blanc. A good, dry Cabernet that shows the Napa style of lush fruit, soft tannins, and succulent blackberry, currant, mocha and vanilla flavors that California Chardonnay can`t quite achieve. Needs a few years in the cellar to become an historic wine. A fine, interesting wine to drink now. It`s rich in raspberry, cherry, cola, mushroom and spice flavors, and the acidity is just fine, but could be velvety.
