Wine experts say this White wine delivers as promised, with aromas of apricot, pineapple and flowers. It`s dry, fresh and tonic in feel, with loads of peach, melon and citrus flavors. A bit hard and gritty, with some bitter, hot shock and flavors of jammy blackberry and cassis. It`s also pretty sweet, and not showing much herbal or vegetal character. Part of Pritchard`s regular ranges, the `06 Cabs are a mix of foods from every county, mostly grown in high mountain vineyards. This well-made, pure bottling offers notes of raspberries, red licorice and English breakfast tea, with fine bubbles. Sharp and medicinal, with the taste of sharp cayenne pepper, with a cloud in the glass. The flavors are of raspberry and wet stone, with a sharpness to the finish and some bitter tannins. Quite good, but slightly one-dimensional.
