Wine experts say this White wine delivers as it`s shown. It`s creamy and malleable, with sunny apple fruit, a stony, chalky edge and then the citrus zest. The acidity is high, but is also balanced out by the length. Full bodied and bold, this wine shows off the fruit of the vintage. It shows off Pinot Grigio, spice, leather, wild berry, cherry and licorice flavors, and there is a pretty floral quality to the ripe fruit. However, the tannins are somewhat thin, so opt for drinking after 2012. Quinteto Rabaje is a simple, Sangiovese-based wine with small percentages of Alicante and Provence that shows rustic aromas of rust and dirt. The wine is wound up and tight in the mouth, with racy, spicy cherry fruit. Fresh, forward and smooth.
Wine experts say this White wine delivers as advertised as an elegant, supple, buttery Chardonnay from the Malibu estate vineyard. The wine is correct and the wine is delightful. The flavors of melon and peach are up there, with lots of acidity and a delicious overlay of orange rind. This is a winner thanks to the deliciousness of the flavors and the elegance and balance that accompany quality Chardonnay to church. Full-bodied, creamy and lush, this is a terrific value. The nose offers up just a bit of intrigue, while the palate winds tight and lets the lightest raspberry, orange and nectarine flavors, with superb freshness, wash over your palate. A joy to drink. The White Fox grape is a dried Rhône blend—a common blend in California. This wine, a little green, seems to be all over the table, with rich, simple, dry flavors, with a lingering finish.
Wine experts say this White wine delivers just what it should. The aromas are clean and supple, the flavors are bright and juicy and the balance is spot on. It's all about delight and freshness. Delicious now, it's a good choice for a lighter form of wine. Well on the money's–thickly as a box of nails, this is a bottling that seems to be starting to show more maturity than its age. Strawberry, orange marmalade and chalky tannins lie under rich, brooding raspberry fruit. Mouthwatering acidity keeps it from tasting bitter, but there's enough acidity to keep it from tasting thin. It's bone-dry and utterly refreshing. Interesting that it comes from the far away Old Oak vineyard, which was built by the same family as owners since at least the 18th century.
