Wine experts say this White wine delivers as promised, with aromas of apricot, pineapple and fresh apricot. Omniwines and limes pick up the winemaker`s attention, and the wine is delectably fruity in pineapple and orange flavors. A very dry, earthy wine, with a briary, brambly element that dominates the fruit. It`s edgy, tannic, and very dry, leaving just a core of blackberry and tobacco flavors. Easy to drink, and it has the structure to win over a range of palates. This Bordeaux-style red blend from New Jersey has a heady, perfumed perfume that dominates the bouquet. The palate is earthy and leathery, with smacking acidity and firm tannins. It comes across as a bit raw and quaffable, but it`s not unbalanced.
Wine experts say this White wine delivers as promised with its full body, effusive peach and grapefruit aromas and flavors, but lacks the depth and interest of some of the grape`s single-vineyard 2012s. But it`s very pure and crisp in acidity, with a delicious feel that lingers in the mouth. This wine is dry, rich and a bit austere, but it explodes with tropical fruit, peach and citrus flavors, all wrapped into complex but refined tannins. It`s especially impressive given the moderate alcohol. The White Fox vineyard designate is based in Ventana, a chilly climate zone above the coastal town of Astana in northern Italy. Grown in 2004, this white is surprisingly orange in color and has a honeyed, spicy edge. The acidity is very present, giving a ripe wine that is deliciously crisp. The richness of 2010 is more than compensated by a finely wrought texture and richness in the finish.
Wine experts say this White wine delivers as promised, with aromas of apricot, pineapple, flowers and light mineral notes. It`s fresh, clean and easy to drink, with a crisp, clean finish. Aromas of cherry, plum, exotic spice and hints of Christmas spice lead the nose on this smooth, warm-feeling wine. The bright cherry flavors are full and generous, mixing fruit and barrel flavors that flesh out the palate. The finish lingers. Aromas of cherry, blackberry and mild herbal notes struggle to achieve focus and definition on this warm, full-bodied wine. The attack is chunky and fairly high, but the finish, which hangs after a hint of leafy herb, is decent. Lightly stalky aromas of banana and spice are complete and inviting. This is basic Renacer with a wet, modest body and clean, basic flavors. Vegetal on a nice feeling finish with good final acidity.
Wine experts say this White wine shows superior pedigree. The mouthfeel is silky and crisp, and it bears raspberry, herb, cola and cedar flavors. Dry and lightly oaked, it`s lovely now, and should develop for 6–8 years. Earthy and deliciously funky, with notes of smoked meat, soil and ash. Made in the modern style, it`s soft and wonderfully complex. Shows black cherry, berry, cocoa, mocha, toast and spice flavors, with a nutty, buttery finish. Don`t expect extra structure from a Petite Sirah. This lovely young Chardonnay is Chablisian, with an elegant and mineral-driven edge to the citrus, golden honey and peach flavors. Lots of promise in terms of structure and alcohol, but not in the way of great Chardonnays.
Wine experts say this White wine delivers. It`s dry, brisk in acidity and savory, with oyster shell, sea salt caramel and smoky flavors. Yet it`s attractive andore, with brisk acidity and a fine, aggressive mousse. This is a great deal, and instantly gets the tastebuds whistling. Textbook Burgundy, this has attributes to age; it`s just has a richer, fruity character that offers steely acidity and fresh toast. There is an attractive zesty texture that pairs well with the red plums on the tangy finish. Dry and intense, with jammy raspberry, cherry, raspberry and spicy sandalwood flavors, this has a rather chunky fruit character, accented with toasty, almost cloying over there in the sunshine. Seems too oaky now.
